Summer and Fall at The Utah Olympic Park.
Morning Star Balloons is providing tethered hot air balloon rides as a featured summer
attraction in the Utah Olympic Park “Gravity Zone.” Rides are available Wednesday-Sunday
from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Olympic legacy facility located at Kimball Junction in Park City.
The 5 to 7 minute rides take the public 150 feet in the air from the ski jumping base for a
bird’s-eye view of the Olympic competition venues and Kimball Junction. The cost is $17 for
adults and $14 for youth in addition to park admission. Additional activities in the Gravity
Zone include wheeled bobsled rides, freestyle introduction camps, street luge, aerial bungee,
bobsled push start, K120 chair lift rides and guided tours. For more information, call the

Viking Yurt

Summer and Fall at The Viking Yurt.
Enjoy gourmet dining at a high altitude also! Take the Flight of The Canyons gondola
ride to The Red Pine Lodge. The Viking Yurt is at 8200 ft. about an eight-minute walk
above the Red Pine Lodge at The Canyons Ski Resort. Your group can combine a balloon
adventure with lunch or dinner at the Viking Yurt. You may want an all-day adventure to
include a horseback ride, hike or mountain biking in Red Pine Canyon amongst the mountain
peaks, lakes and wild flowers. Bring your own music or we can hire a band for dancing on
our 1200 sq. ft. deck. Customize your all-day adventure to your group's needs.
